Betty Colomb Obituary

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Pearl, who was born on November 30th, 1960 in The Pas, Manitoba. Pearl had quite the sense of humor, she was always joking with those she knew and she had the most contagious laughter. There was never a dull moment when you were around her. She loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, going down the river and spending time in the bush. She loved picking berries and when she had the opportunity go to Burntwood with her sister Judy, she'd pack up and go. She enjoyed her time with her nieces Orlena and Sunshine, going on little trips having cookouts, feasts or just being there. She loved her canasta game, that she would yell so loud if she lost or holler with a crazy laughter, that made us all laugh with her. She was known as our crazy auntie, and she knew it, she would laugh hysterically, and say I may be small but I have a big mouth. She taught many what she knew about medicines from mother earth. She loved being outdoors. Whenever a camera was pointed at her she'd give you the biggest smile she had. She was a dedicated firefighter in Sherridon and loved her job. Pearl was always there for others, especially her parents. When she was feeling low, she would call them or her little otsew Sunshine. She loved to spend time alone, but enjoyed the company of others. She was outspoken and courageous, our Pearl. She will forever be missed and always in our heart. Her memory will always be with us. Pearl is survived by her parents Martin Colomb, Caroline Colomb, Brothers Marvin (Arlynn) Colomb, Yvan (Anne) Colomb, Irvin Colomb, Archie Colomb, Lawrence (Philomne) Colomb, Sisters Judy (Baptiste) Colomb, Gladys Sinclair, Valerie (Vernon) Colomb, Childern Martin (Ayas) Colomb, Debbie Colomb, Kelly Highfield, Melissa Colomb, Ralph Jr Laliberty, All Grandchildren, Many cousins, nieces, nephews and aunties.
