Frank Saskowski

To all the Saskowski family, our sincere condolences.  I well remember the bridge nights when dad was hosting.  Many many happy music memories too....from playing at our wedding, Trappers Festival, Valhalla and church.  He was always so happy!

When Frank first came to Winnipeg to go to school I was there with his Uncle Bill, and we picked him up every Friday and brought him to our place for the weekend.  Frank and I would play cribbage every Saturday morning for a nickel a game,  When he won enough he would go to the movies for the rest of the day.

In later years when I lived in Winnipeg we visited the cabin on many weekends.  We enjoyed fishing and visiting with Frank and Ida.  He'll be very sadly missed by me and my family.

To all the Saskowski clan,  We were so sorry to hear that your dad and grandpa is gone.  He was a wonderful man!  He was a kind and caring neighbor at the lake helping both my my mom and me with jobs around the cottage  and getting the boat to and  from town.   He always had a kind word and a joke and we loved listening to him play his various instruments.  He was so talented and was kind to Kris with her violin attempts!  Our deepest sympathy at his passing.
