Glen Grey Obituary
Glen Grey was born on Thursday, July 12, 1979 at The Pas, Manitoba to Maria Grey and the late Percy John Grey.
Glen was united in marriage to Melissa Thomas on July 12, 2014 at St. John's Anglican Church, Moose Lake and they were happily married for 4 years until his sudden passing.
Glen's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially with his only baby girl Kaylee Grey and his stepsons Zachary and Eric Thomas, nephew Devaughn Grey and niece Devaeh Grey. He would never miss making phone calls to his mom, whom he loved so much. Glen also loved visiting and talking to his aunties, uncles and cousins. He also loved to phone his cousin Margaret Patchinose.
Glen's hobby was that he loved cooking for everyone. He always made homemade pizzas, meat pies and soups with bannock. He loved watching TV, computers, outdoors, joking around with people whom he met.
Glen passed away Thursday, January 31, of 39 years with his wife, daughter and mom by his side.
Glen is survived by his wife Melissa; daughter Kaylee Sunshine; stepsons Eric and Zachary Thomas; mother Maria Grey; brother Peter Grey; sister Angel Grey (Petey); Nephews Devaugh, Greyson Burge; niece Devaeh; father-in-law Oscar Thomas; sisters-in-law Alma Rose, Ashley; brothers-in-law Dusty, Matthew, Shawn, Marlen, Morgan; aunties Susan (James) Ettawakapow, Emma (Joe) Campbell, Carol Grey, Priscilla (Purvis) McKay, Tara (James) Blacksmith, Flora (Raymond) Tobacco, Irma (Joseph Lambert), Ila (Norman) Sanderson, Flora (Lester) Bignell, Virginia Grey, Verna Grey; uncles Wilfred Buck, Clifford W. Buck, James (Donna) Buck, Morris Grey, Abel (Marjorie) Grey; grandmother Brenda Martin; grandpa John Martin Sr.; Godchildren Tanisha Monias, Jamie Blacksmith, Saydee Mercredi; Godparents Priscilla McKay and Donald McNabb; cousins, nephews, nieces, numerous relatives and friends in the surrounding areas too numerous to mention.
Glen was predeceased by his father Percy Grey; brother Delbert Grey; grandparents John and Amelia Buck, Louie George, Betsy Buck, Robert and Alice Buck, Rachel and Bert Grey, Andrew and Stella Buck, Mack, Tom and Ahab Buck; cousin Jonas Brian Grey Jr.; mother-in-law Rose Chartrand; uncles Jonas Grey, Roderick Grey, Zacheus Grey, Alfred Tobacco Sr. (Boy-G), Samuel Grey, Ralph Buck Sr., Rueben Matthew Buck, John Robert Buck; aunties Beverly Blacksmith, Florence Campbell, Elizabeth Grey, Melvina Buck, Lillian Ruth; other relatives too numerous to mention.
