In Loving Memory of Candace Jean Eileen Witt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Candace Jean Eileen Witt, age 50, at her residence in Snow Lake, Manitoba.

Candace was born on February 3, 1976, in Thompson, Manitoba, to parents Bonnie Hamel and Allan Witt. She grew up in Snow Lake and later attended the University of Manitoba where she received her degree as a mental health clinician.

Candace had a profound love for animals and was happiest in their company. She always shared her home with animal companions, and her kindness and compassions toward them were an important part of who she was.

Candace will be lovingly remembered by her stepbrother, Dean Duerr, and by all those whose lives she touched.

She was predeceased by her brother, Allan Jr.

A graveside service will be held at Snow Lake Cemetery on Friday, September 18, at 1:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather to remember and celebrate Candace's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to an animal shelter of your choice.

May Candace's memory live on through the kindness she showed to others and the love she gave to the animals who shared her life.
