With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the loss of our loved one Eddie Jr. He passed with family by his side at St Anthony's hospital in The Pas, Manitoba on Thursday, August 13th, 2026. He was 53 years old

Eddie Jr. was born Monday, June 4th,1973 at St Anthony's hospital in The Pas, Manitoba to Hazel & Edward Head Sr.

He grew up in The Pas, Manitoba for a good part of his young life, then in the early 80's the family moved to Moose Lake, Manitoba then he went and received his education in Brandon, Manitoba where he met Candida Monias and together, they had 5 children (Bossman) Edward Monias (Stephanie), Tanisha (Taylor) Head, Drake (Ashley) Head, Tommy (Gloria) Head, Colin (Cadence) Head.

Eddie Jr. fought very hard, He had stage 4 cancer, he was a very strong man and did everything and anything for his kids and grandkids.

He was a very good provider and loved to work. Eddie Jr. had several jobs such as a fire chief, semi driver in different provinces, School bus driver and water truck driver. He was friendly and outgoing, he liked joking around especially with his good friends just to name a few, Kevin Dick, Carson Patchinose, Killipoo Ballantyne and Derrick Campbell, there are so many more too numerous to mention.

As a young child, his dad gave him the nickname "Poose".

Eddie Jr. later had a son Dillon Ballantyne and his babies Edward Head Jr,jr, Winter Star Martin, Ezra Head, He loved all the boys in the family very much, like they were all his sons.

Eddie Jr. will is survived by his mother; Hazel Head children; Edward (Stephanie) Monias, Tanisha (Taylor) Head, Tommy (Gloria) Head, Drake (Ashley) Head, Colin (Cadence) Head, Dillan Ballantyne, Edward jr,jr Head, Winter Star Martin, Ezra Head.

Grandchildren; Devon, Amberlee, Naveah, Jodi, Nova, Samantha, Stormi Sky, Xavier, Miles, Carter, Cade and Hazelyn. Sisters; Jackie (Claira) Head, Stephanie Head, Charlee Settee. Brother; Phillip (Rema) Head, Aunties; Marguerite (Jeffery) Sanderson, Rosemary Head, Sandra Head, Ann Head, Sylvia Settee, Syliva (Andy) Grey. Uncles; Kenneth Head, Theo (Ida) Head, William (Lola) Head. Nieces and nephews; Roderick jr, Karina, Blaze, Verna, Norman. Godchildren; Jasmine Chapman, Sheldon Bercier and Lt. Lovely Jebb. Mother-in-law; Rita Monias. Sister-in-laws; Carmel (Tommy) Monias and Tammy Monias; and cousins too numerous to mention.

Eddie Jr. is predeceased by his dad Edward Head Sr. Grandparents; Zaccheus and Lizzie Head, Douglas and Charlotte Settee. Aunties and uncles; Phillip Head, Howard Head, Leonard Head, Floyd Head, Sylvia Chapman, Lena Neepin, Nancy Head, Adam (Florence) Settee, Alex (Lillian) Settee, Nancy (Walter) Mink, Mary McKenzie. Cousins; Andrew Masters, William (Lil'guy) Head, Willie Campbell, Smith Attley, Teddy Head, Eddie Chapman and Lovely Jebb. Father-in-law; Tommy Monias. Brother-in-law; Leron Monias.
