Joseph Roger Dumas was born in The Pas, Manitoba on Tuesday, August 31, 1971 to his parents Zenon and Hilda Dumas. Joseph lived in Pukatawagan, Manitoba then moved to Lynn Lake, Manitoba where he lived until his sudden passing at the Health Science Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He loved to go fishing, hunting, trapping and did odd jobs in and around Lynn Lake. He loved to spend time with his family and help out those who needed it.

Joseph is survived by his special friend: Julie Colomb. Children; Emile Sinclair and Caroline Sinclair. Grandchildren: Leonard Sinclair, Samantha Colomb, Kylo Colomb, CJ Sinclair, Lovely Sinclair, Brent Colomb Jr., Mavis Colomb, Ale Colomb, Louisa Sinclair, Creelynn Sinclair, Brodin Sinclair, Christine Sinclair. Siblings; Marcel (Melanie) Dumas and children, Gabriel (Beradine) Dumas and children, Baptiste (Judy) Hunter and children, Helenore Dumas and children, Shirley Colomb and children, Sylvia (Christopher) Colomb and children. Aunties and uncles; Marcel Caribou, Sylvia Caribou.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents; Zenon and Hilda Dumas. Grandparents; Ann and Joseph Caribou. Siblings; Ernest Hunter, Thomas Hunter, Marcel Hunter, Muriel Sinclair and Caroline Daniels. Nieces; Annmarie Hunter, Vanessa Sinclair, Amanda Dumas, Stephanie Hunter, April Dumas and Latanya Hunter. Nephew; Leo Dumas. As well as many other family members that have gone before him. If we have forgotten to mention anyone, it was not intentional.
