It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother-in-law, brother, uncle, Godfather and friend Lawrence Jeffrey Martin Sr. better known as "Jeff" Jeffrey. Jeff was born on Monday, February 1, 1965, in The Pas Manitoba.

Jeffrey was a father to 7 kids, 21 grandchildren, 2 God children, 2 daughters-in-law and 1 son-in-law. Jeffrey passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 9:30am at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, at the age of 61 years.

Jeffrey and his wife Catherine were married for 39 years August 26, 1987. Jeffrey enjoyed picking berries, going for long drives, playing bingo, working out and fixing stuff in his shed. He loved working for the community as a heavy duty operator, he liked to go fishing and trapping in the wilderness. Most of all he loved being a father and raising his grandchildren. He also loved to use his camcorder recording memories with loved ones. Jeffrey also loved to play pranks on his kids and grandchildren.

In Jeffrey's younger years he loved to spend time with his "potato gang" (brothers) and helping his parents cutting wood, helping his dad with trapping and going for boat rides, and Picking traditional medicine with his grandpa John Buck Sr. Jeffrey attended school in moose lake at moose lake school. He also attended at FCI Cranberry Portage for one whole day. Jeffrey will be missed for his great sense of humour, his million dollar smile, and his caring living heart. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Jeffrey leaves to mourn his wife Catherine Martin; his daughters Lucyle (Earl) Harper, Lorilynn, Loretta, and Jessica. His sons Lawrence Jr. (Vanessa), Layne, Lenny (Nicole). His brother Steven (Lillian) Martin. His grand kids Laurence 3rd, Raymond, Chad, Ashton, Keena, Colston, Sharleigh, Monique, Autumn, Matthew, Miah, Ljay, Mindy, Neena, Bigeyes, Winter, Caleb, Zion, Ezra, and grandbaby #20 on the way. Sisters-in-law Muriel Martin, Georgina McNabb; brothers-in-law Rod, Russell, Joseph along with his nieces and nephews. (Too many to mention)

Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents Bart and Elizebeth Martin; in-laws Ahab and Ruby McNabb; siblings Anthony and Diane Martin; niece Taylor Martin (Houle); grandparents John and Flora Martin, John Buck Sr. and Flora Jane Ettawakapow Tobacco; uncles Sam Ettawakapow, James Ettawakapow, John Martin, Abel Martin, Archie Martin; aunties Isabell Martin, Rachel Grey, Gertie Ross. If we forgot anyone, it was not intentional.
