Leonard James Podbisky was born in Toronto, Ontario, on July 13, 1956, and passed away in The Pas, Manitoba, on September 9, 2026.

Leonard was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and James Podbisky. He is survived by his brother, Kevin, and Kevin's wife, Carol, and their children, Curtis and Shawna; his sister, Holly, her husband, Mark, and her son, Brendan; as well as numerous cousins.

Over the years, Leonard worked in media, both in radio and newspapers. He loved telling stories and was known for his kind heart. Leonard also dreamed of travelling to Thailand, a journey he hoped to make one day.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on October 3 at 11 a.m. at Lakeside Cemetery in The Pas, Manitoba, with Hemauer Funeral Home assisting. Lunch will follow at 1 p.m. at Anderson Inn and Suites.
