On Wednesday
December 4th, Alice
Muriel Paterson
exercised her privilege
and passed
peacefully amongst
those who loved and
cherished her at St
Anthony's Hospital in
The Pas.
Alice was born
Alice Muriel
Bouteiller on July
24th, 1925 in
A r b o r f i e l d
Saskatchewan. As a
young woman she
met and married
Albert Paterson and
after many loving
years of adventures,
he preceded her in
1996. After several
years, Alice was fortunate
enough to find
another companion
in Jim Landles, who
she lost in 2017.
She is survived
by her five children,
her grandchildren,
great grandchildren,
and those lucky
enough to have been
chosen to be part of
her family.
A small remembrance
luncheon was
held on December
7th at Carrot Valley
Hall where Alice had
spent many days
and nights volunteering,
enjoying time,
and celebrating with
the Valley community.
The five children,
Carrol Leclerc,
Connie Havard
(Bob), Larry
Paterson (Irene),
Allan Paterson
(Patti), and Wayne
Paterson (Nancy),
and their families
would like to thank
everyone for all the
love and support
given to Alice and
our family. Special
thanks to the caregivers
on 3rd at
Northern View Lodge
who went above and
beyond in making
Alice feel safe and
comfortable. If you
would like to make a
donation in her memory,
The Carrot
Valley Community
Center was a very
important part of her
life.
In lieu of flowers,
we ask you simply
take a moment to
make the people in
your life feel as special
and loved as
Alice made us all
feel.
