Barry Earl Holland

Barry was born on November 20, 1951 in Yorkton, SK and passed away in The Pas, MB on January 16, 2025 with his family by his side.

Barry grew up on the family farm in Bredenbury, SK and started driving the cattle to Winnipeg at the age of 14. In 1970, he met a pretty young lady from Churchbridge, SK. He and Doreen married in 1971 and had two children together.

In 1973, Barry and his family moved to The Pas, MB where he worked for his brother in construction/trucking. He then started working for the pulp & paper mill before venturing out on his own path in 1980. He started his own company, DigMor Construction, adding to that a few years later with Holland’s Crane Service.

Barry was predeceased by his mother Jean, father Harry, brothers Jim and Bill and his partner Lorraine. He is survived by his children, daughter Denise (Barry), son Kelvin (Theresa), grandchildren Kody, Mallory (Rysen), Kallie (Reid), Fallon and Keilan, great granddaughters Paisley and Rylie.

Barry loved to work and dreamed of being able to someday create and leave a legacy for his family…he succeeded!

In keeping with family wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
