Barry David Patience
April 28, 1942 – March 28, 2023
Barry (UB) was a fun loving, kind and considerate, brother and uncle to a large extended family. Many of his friends and cousins enjoyed his quiet whit, his honesty and his competitiveness. These characteristic traits, made lasting and long friendships for him. He was generous and always ready to help others.
Barry completed his high school education in Minitonas, Manitoba. He worked on the 'Duff Ditch' project; building a much needed floodwaters around the city of Winnipeg. He then enrolled with Manitoba Hydro and efficiently worked on construction projects in Northern and Eastern regions for over 25 years. Barry left Manitoba Hydro to work and live in The Pas. He independently worked as a contractor completing construction projects. He built many fences for businesses and industries. His work never ended until he was stricken with a disabling illness. He was reputable for his strong work ethics. Barry always got the "jobs" done!
His family and friends have all shared some great stories of quality time spent with Barry in his life time. He will be missed at our family gatherings. Our celebrations of his life will live the strongest in our memories.
In keeping with Barry's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal service will be held.
