Brent Lechelt

With profound sorrow we announce the passing of our father and husband Brent Edward Lechelt on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the age of 48.

Brent always had a love and passion for all things outdoors, a passion he found great happiness in sharing with his son, Mason, his pride and joy. Brent was always happy to introduce those new to hunting and fishing to his favorite hobbies, as such, the forest and outdoors will always be a place where we can feel close to him.

Brent will be missed by many and is survived by his wife Danita Lechelt; son and best friend Mason; parents Ed and Cheryl Lechelt; mother in law Linda Hebb; sister Chandra Lechelt and niece Thea; Sister in law Janelle Hebb and nephew Tycho. As well as his closest friends and supports Ryan Johnson, Ken Stevenson, Chad Hnatiuk and Steven Carbonneau who stayed in touch until he left us.

Brent's wife would like to express thanks to her entire work family at St. Anthony's Hospital in The Pas the care he received every step was second to none. Special thank you to the Cancer Care department, Dr. M. Noel and Carla Constant along with Jana Harmes with palliative care who went above and beyond. Extra special thank you to Danita's ER work family for the unwavering support and understanding.

In keeping with Brent's wishes there will be a private family celebration of life held at a later date.
