Charles Ducharme Obituary

Charles Patrick Ducharme was born on Friday, November 27, 1964 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was welcomed home by Mom Gladys and his brothers Randy and Roland. Together they spent his early years living and learning everlasting skills that Toby continued to use throughout his life. Toby experienced living and going to school in many different places. He enjoyed gaining knowledge in everything he had the opportunity to explore. Toby loved his family, music, fishing, hunting and camping. Toby spent time touring with his dad Charles Nabess and Three Penny Opera as their sound technician.  Through his life he mentored many nephews, nieces and friends. He wanted our future leaders to be hardworking, respectful people who aren’t afraid to enjoy the pleasures of life.

As a teenager Toby met the love of his life Irma together they raised their children Carlo (Jen), Cherilea (Dwayne), Holly and Marshall. They taught their children how to work hard,  love and enjoy life. Family was the most important part of all of their teachings. They opened their home to many and taught healing and acceptance.

In recent years they were blessed with their grandchildren Siearra, Hailey, Ashton, Alex, Tahner, Coralea, Nicholas, Frederick and Evie. Their pride and joy great-grandchildren Tobin, Graham, Analina and Tobias. They will continue the legacy their Great-Grandfather began.

Toby was predeceased by his grandparents Patrick and Maria Nabess; his dad Charles Nabess;  mom Gladys Mercredi;  father-in-law Jim Nabess; mother-in-law Margie Nabess; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Toby leaves to continue a blessed and fulfilling life, his siblings Randy, Roland, Deex, Mark, Robert Paton, Barb Mercredi, Trudy Paton, Pauline Paton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Toby’s family was a constant love and concern. He had a great memory of each and everyone.
