Dallas was born Wednesday, June 10, 1992 at St. Anthony’s hospital in The Pas, Mb to Richard and Darlene Packo. On Friday afternoon, May 29, 2026 at the age of 33 Dallas passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Early on in his life Dallas was surrounded by his grandparents, aunties, uncles and many cousins, he enjoyed visiting and venturing outside with his sister Candace and brother Daylon. After moving from Young’s Point Darlene and Richard decided to move their family to Opaskwayak Cree Nation to Jebb’s Drive. Here Dallas attended Joe A. Ross School. Later on he completed a computer support technician course which was offered through the Robertson College in Winnipeg.
During the summer when Dallas was in his early teens he spent time in Saskatchewan where he met his longtime partner Larissa Sanderson. Together they had a son Kayden Dallas Lorenzo, A.K.A. Hemi. Dallas came home to visit but he always ended up back in James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan, with his family. His favorite past times was playing video/Xbox games with his friends and family that were back home.
Dallas is survived by his common law partner Larissa Sanderson; son Kayden “Hemi” Sanderson; parents Richard and Darlene Packo; his siblings Candace, Daylon, Haley, Robin and Desmond; as well as nieces and nephew Neveah, Noah and Nadia; as well as friends too numerous to mention.
Dallas is predeceased by grandparents John and Camelia Fidler (OCN) and Flora and Boniface Packo (Grand Rapids); mother in law Eileen Sanderson; as well as aunties, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends too numerous to mention. If we forgot to mention anyone it was not intentional.
