Danielle Marie Drake, aged 43, passed away peacefully, with family by her side on September 18, 2024, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Born on April 24, 1981, in The Pas, Manitoba, Danielle was known for her adventurous, kind and joyful spirit and her profound love for Family and friends, the ocean, photography, and art.
Throughout her life, Danielle was a vibrant presence at social gatherings, often found laughing around campfires or engaging in lively discussions at social events. Her commitment to community service was evident through her active participation in with the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, the Carrot Valley Community Center, The Pas Firearms Association, her beloved Kinettes Club and the Trappers Festival and World Championship Dog Sled Races in The Pas, dedicating countless hours to volunteering.
Danielle's hobbies reflected her adventurous and spirited nature. An enthusiast of the outdoors, she enjoyed scuba diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, photography and camping. She also had a passion for traveling and spontaneous road trips, often bringing along friends and family to share in her adventures. Additionally, Danielle's love for Fall showcased her creative and playful side, eagerly partaking in all things Halloween each year.
She is survived by her son, Tristan Tavener along with his Partner Brooklyn and son Malyk; her parents, Carol and Doug Drake; her niece, Olivia Drake; and her brother, Ryan Drake.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Danielle at 2:00 pm on November 9, 2024, at the Carrot Valley Community Center in her hometown of The Pas, honoring her memorable love of laughter and dedication to the people in her life. Her spirit and joy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
