David Linklater

David Alexander Linklater was born Tuesday, December 24, 1974, in Pukatawagan, Manitoba, to Solomon and Cecilia Linklater.

            David was most happy being outdoors on the boat, fishing, hunting, camping at Spud Island and Bonald Lake.

            During the winter he loved ice fishing with brothers Johnathan, JC, Davey and Darrel.

            If you asked him where did you come from, his favorite answer was, “from my mom, 1974.”

            David passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Pukatawagan, Manitoba, at the age of 51 years.

            David is survived by his wife Goldie Linklater; daughters Cathy (Clifford) and their children Shacara, Jayvion, Xandre; Rachel and her daughter Avyiah; Francine and her family of 3 boys and 1 girl; sons Seth and his daughter Lena Joy; Thomas (Suiri); Jeffrey; Ranville and his family Isaiah, Shanley, Manny, Alyiah; Jessie and his family Draven, Kalia; sisters Valerie (Kevin) Whyte and their family; Linda and her family Rollanda, John, Suncloud, Gabrielle and 18 grandchildren; Connie and her family Chelsea, Bladen, faith, Marissa and grandchildren; Joanne and her family Roxanne, Nichole and grandchildren; brothers Lloyd and his family Christopher, Kurt, Creedan, Rayland, Edessa; Leon and his family; adopted kids Tami, Carlton (baby), Shacara; aunties Hilda, Christina, Margaret, Irene (Denny), Marie, Bella (Lloyd), Rose; uncles Gilbert, Marcel; cousins, family and friends too numerous to mention.

            David was predeceased by his mother Cecilia; father Solomon; brothers Ramsey and Solomon Jr.; adopted son Gibson Caribou; daughter Angel Castel; and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention. If we forgot anyone it was not intentional.
