We celebrate the beautiful life of our beloved Dinah. Dinah lived a life full of love, laughter and meaningful moments.
On Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, our dear sister Dinah passed away peacefully, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 62 years.
Dinah was born to Gertrude and Peter Ross on Sunday, October 28th, 1962, at the St. Anthony’s Hospital in The Pas, Manitoba.
Dinah grew up in Moose Lake, Manitoba, with her parents and 9 siblings. Growing up she enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks. As a teenager, she enjoyed hanging out with her friends, she referred to herself as “Julia Roberts”.
In her younger years, Dinah stopped her education to take care both of her parents as they both got sick. Shortly after the passing of both her parents, Dinah became a Nanny to all her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and some children within the community.
A few years later, Dinah got sick with diabetes and relocated to The Pas Care Home for easy access to medical care where she lived for 15 years.
Dinah brought joy, laughter and warmth into our lives. Dinah loved watching hockey, reading the bible and sharing the scriptures with her family as well as visiting her friends at the care home.
Dinah is survived by her sisters, Annabelle (Don) Campbell, Jessie Ross, Darlene Ross and Darlene Nirmalan; brothers, Steve Ross, Alec (Ruth) Ross, Henry (Prim Rose) Ross, and Keenan Ross, Along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, chapans, brothers-in-law, and relatives which are too many to name. If we forgot anyone, it was not intentional.
Dinah was predeceased by her mother and father, Gertrude and Peter Ross; grandparents, Bella and Henry Ross; auntie, Annabell Sanderson; uncle, Reverend Percy Ross, Jim McKenzie; siblings, Christina Flett and Gary Ross; nephews, Clifford Campbell, Rodrick Campbell, Kiplan John Ty; nieces, Theresa and Delores Flett and Trudy Vinett.
