Donald Beasley

                It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Gordon Beasley on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 75 years.

                Don was born in Birch River, Manitoba, February 8, 1950 to James and Alice Beasley.  Ove the next number of years the family relocated often as James was employed by CNR.  After high school Don moved to Saskatoon to work with his brother Winston and became interested in an electrical apprenticeship.  He attended Red River College and obtained a Journeyman Electrical License.  Don was employed by Northwest Electric then moved on to CFI Pulp Mill and retired when the mill was Tolko.

                He enjoyed his time “puttering around”, spending time with family and friends.  He liked to spend time at the lake and at the farm in Birch River.  Time spent browsing on his computer was also a favorite.

                Don is survived by his wife of 54 years, Reta; daughter Allison Nicole (Cliff); son-in-law Terry Tulman; sisters-in-law Brenda, Diane; brothers Richard (Fran), Mervan (Jane); sisters-in-law Judith Hopkins, Leona DeBruin (Ray); brother-in-law Leonard (Kim); and numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren Kennedy, Houston (Meagan), Rachel, Carly, Sasha, Raven, Kayne, Jamie, Aaryn and Xander; great grandchildren Cole, Ryan, Treydence.

                Don was predeceased by daughter Kimberley Dawn Tulman January 2024; brothers John, Robert, Winston and infant sister; brother-in-law Norman Martinson.

                Family would like to thank staff in ER and ACIU, Cancercare. Special appreciations to Jana (palliative care) and Danielle (OT) for assisting us to keep Don at home as long as possible.

                Rest in peace my love.  Kimberley Dawn is waiting for you in heaven!

In keeping with family wishes, cremation will take place and no formal service will be held.
