It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, son-in-law, husband, dad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Franklin Darren Scott, Sunday, December 15, 2019, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 38 years.
Franklin was born in The Pas, Manitoba, to Maryann and the late Roland Scott, on Sunday, November 15, 1981. He was the eldest of 10 children. Franklin grew up in Grand Rapids where he attended school and received his high school diploma. He was a great role model for his brothers and sisters. He would do anything for them. Franklin stepped up as a father figure when sadly they lost their dad and brother in a boating accident. The love he shared with his brothers, sisters and his mom grew even stronger. He never left home without telling his mom how much he loved her, the bond between them would not be broken.
In early 2000, Franklin met the love of his life Olivia Cook. It was love at first sight, and a love that grew stronger over time. A love that proved to be inseparable. Franklin and Olivia were united in marriage March 22, 2003. They were blessed with 9 children; sons Tyrell, Landon, Franklin Jr, Levi and late infant son Roland; daughters Jyzelle, Pursayus, twins Alyssa and Alayna. Franklin also had another daughter Addysson.
Franklin's children were his pride and joy, he loved them so much and he cherished every moment he had with them. He always made sure they were happy and always made sure to bring them treats.
Franklin has left a huge void in all our hearts and he will truly be missed.
Franklin leaves to mourn his loving wife Olivia; sons Tyrell, Landon, Franklin Jr., Levi; daughters Jyzelle, Pursayus, Alyssa, Alayna, Addysson; his loving mom Maryann; brothers Sterling (Taffee), John (Charity), Roland (Bryna), Archie; sisters Geraldine (Clayton), Laura, Flora (Liberty), Jody; loving mother-in-law Mary Dick; brothers-in-law Shane (Rae), Dwayne (Stacey); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
