With heavy hearts the family of Irene Donna Linklater announces her peaceful passing on May 09,2026 at her home at the age of 62. 

Donna was an out going happy, caring, kind, loving, humorous and strong person. She was a ray of sunshine. Even on hard times she was always smiling. She left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met. 

Donna will be be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her surviving only child Charlene Linklater. Especially her grandchildren Dante, Trennis, Winter, Teshawn, Prosper, Paris, Paige, Maya, Emma, and Kayne. She will also be missed by her siblings, Duane Pelly, Wendy Sinclair, Evelyn Sinclair, Judy Sinclair, and Melissa Nabess. Her special aunties and uncles Irene Linklater, Hilda Francois, Margaret Linklater, and Marcel Bighetty. Donna had special love for her cousins, nieces, and nephews Kaitlin, Nathan, Preston, Lee Anna, Jasmine, Kylie, Rylee, Robbie, Rosa, Daylight, Irene, Clifford, Punky, Darren, Darryl, Ludwig, Davey, CreeSky, Kerry, Elisa Mai, Terry, Elissa, Jonathan, George, Suzette, Gregory,Nichole, Mandy, and so many to mention.

She is lovingly reunited in the spirit world with her mother Clara Marie Sinclair, dad John Sinclair, son Leslie Linklater, baby Arlene Linklater, her brother Clifford Sinclair, grand parents Philothee & Joseph Linklater, Naomi Sinclair, nieces Chasity McDonald, Kaya Sinclair, cousins P.J Bighetty, Nikisha Linklater, Soloman Linklater, and many others. Many others too numerous to mention that have left to the spirit world, but are not forgotten.

Donna was a loving mother, a devoted friend and a treasured niece. Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and the ability to bring people together will be remembered always. To know Donna was to be welcomed with open arms- carry her in your heart to hold onto love and compassion.

A wake service will be held on May 27 2026 starting at 8p.m at the neya family home ( 41 Wapum Drive, Pukatawagan). A celebration of life will be held in Pukatawagan on May 28 2026 at the sacred heart church at 11a.m. A feast will follow at 3p.m at the residence in Neya.
