With great sorrow, our beloved son and brother, Jaden Young-Head has passed on October 16, 2025. He leaves to mourn his mother; Trudy Young, father; Glen (Marge) Head, grandmother; Suzette, sisters; Alexis, Jayda and Mikayla, brother; Mack (Erica), uncles; Layne (Leia) and Garfield Young, nieces; Ravainah, Raelynn, nephew; Ramoin “Boy” cousins; Arianna, Xanders and Alesha and godparents; Brian Ballantyne and Leah Spence Constant.
He was predeceased by his cousin Eva Young, grandfather James Young, grandparents Archie and Darlene Cochrane and numerous family, too many to mention.
Jaden was born on August 30, 1997 and raised on OCN. He loved his closest family and had numerous good friends. Jaden had a very special bond with his late grandfather James, who would often accompany him on hockey trips and was always there to cheer him on and was probably his biggest fan.
Jaden loved hockey and played with the OCN Huskies, Storm and Blizzard in his youth and adolescent years. He spent time travelling for hockey tryouts with his godfather Brian and Karen Ballantyne, whom he loved very much. Jaden was learning how to cook with his granny, having his favorite lemon meringue pie and meatballs, stealing that job from his uncle Layne.
Jaden was an awesome uncle to his nieces and nephew. He loved spending time and watching over them. In his spare time he loved to play games, he was a gamer and on the side he had his nephew Ramoin watch him so he could learn to play. He loved to watch Star Wars. He also loved to have good laughs with his friends.
He graduated grade 12 with his sister in 2017, and continues his education in law enforcement. He worked numerous places including OLC as and Educational Assistant, OES in reception, Northland Ford with his dad, OCN homeless center, and his last job was with OCN Beautification crew in which he enjoyed doing.
