In loving memory of our daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, niece, cousin, auntie, goddaughter, friend and special friend, Jennifer Delilah Genaille. With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Jennifer on October 16th, 2025, at the tender age of 22.
Jennifer was born Thursday, October 16th, 2003, at St. Anthony’s General Hospital in The Pas, Manitoba, to Dora Ettawakapow and Douglas Genaille.
She will be lovingly remembered by those she leaves to mourn; mother, Dora and stepdad, Alfred (Cheech); father, Douglas and stepmother, Lindsay; her siblings, Merdina, Candace, Rene, Danis, Honora, Isabella, Margaret, AJ, Kruz, Alex, Jeremy, Douglas Jr. and Matthew; partner, Kegan Keeper; grandparents, Ann and Charlie Nasikapow, Momma Isabelle Genaille, and numerous kookooms, chooms, aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jennifer absolutely loved her dad Douglas so very much, which is why she moved to Split Lake, Manitoba to be close to him. While living in Split Lake she met her boyfriend Kegan Keeper, and were both blessed with their sweetheart Alayda. She was currently employed at the Northern Store where she took pride in her work, she appreciated her employers and coworkers because they treated her very well.
She received her education from Rod Martin School, Frontier Mosakahiken School and Frontier Collegiate Institute in Cranberry Portage.
Jennifer loved chillin’ with her friends, family and siblings, being the loudest and making her presence known with her “big auntie” laugh. She expressed her love to her siblings by teasing them. Jennifer loved to cook and get creative with her meals.
Jennifer loved being on social media, taking pictures and reaching out to friends. She loved to travel and see new places, listen to music, and dance like no one is watching. She had a unique personality with a stubborn streak, even her auntie Linda couldn’t burst that bubble.
Jennifer was predeceased by her papa Tony Genaille; sister, Giselle Genaille; uncle, Marcus Constant, and many other relatives too numerous to mention. If we forgot anyone, it is not intentional.
