Jeremiah was born November 29th,1993 in The Pas Manitoba to Diane and Scott. He was a brother to 8 siblings, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.  Jeremiah lived his whole life in Cormorant Lake Manitoba.

Jeremiah received his education at Cormorant Lake School and FCI, Cranberry Portage.

At the age of 17 he started working on the power line with his brothers.

Jeremiah became a father at the age of 18 with the love of his life Sarah Jane.

Jeremiah lived his short life to the fullest. Taken far too soon.

Jeremiah had been on the land with family since the age of 3 months and began trapping on his own at an early age.  Jeremiah was a natural born leader and provider. He had strong family values, and the love for his family was unmeasurable. He always put his family first no matter what.  Jeremiah made a living off the land that the creator provided for us, which he considered the” good life”.

He became well known for his skills as a hunter and trapper to provide food from the land for his family, elders and anyone else, just because he cared.

Jeremiah was a very proud man and father and lead by example. His drive and positive energy were contagious and with a positive attitude, common sense and a lot of native ingenuity he was able to deal with any situation. He was a foreman at the age of 23, and most recently his work life lead him home. Working alongside Neno and KJ commercial fishing,  Allowing him to be on the land and closer to his family that he loved. Jeremiah especially liked to be out with his brothers where he was “the Leader of the Pack” and  the family motto is “RELAX, we’re all crazy. Its not a competition”

But he was happiest where he belonged which was with his wife and children enjoying the good life.

we all know you are in a good place; your warm smile and strong arms will always be with us and look after us.

We love you and miss you.  Thank you for all the happy memories.
