John McPherson

Sadly we lost our dad John James “Jack” McPherson on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his home, with family by his side. Dad was born on Thursday, March 9, 1950 to his parents John Sr. and Matilda Cameron in The Pas, Manitoba. Dad was survived by our mom Stella; his baby girl Cheryl; sons John Jr., Leonard (Allison), Stanley (Stephanie); and his grandson Michael whom mom and dad raised as their own son. He is also survived by grandchildren Heather (Jacob), Rachel (Dan), Laura, Riela (Jason), Charley (Hubert), Leahanne, Taylor, John Jr., Jordan, Annaleah, Memphis, Lem, Leonard Jr., Matilda and many great grandchildren and extended family too numerous to mention. If we forgot to mention anyone it was not intentional.

Dad,

It is hard for us to say goodbye, we will miss that smile you had when you would see us. We will miss that twinkle in your eyes every time you looked at mom, we will miss your sense of humor and your laugh. Hi my baby, I’ll miss how we used to watch our favorite hockey team together. You have taught us a lot in life, through the ups and downs and how to depend on ourselves. As well as how to love each other, forgive the past and move on to live your life to the fullest. Dad you will live forever in our hearts, you will never be forgotten. You were the most humble, proud, loveable, amazing man we all got to love. It’s not goodbye its see you later as dad told me.
