Marlene Buck Obituary
Marlene Doris Buck was born to Vivian and Joseph Moose on Wednesday, February 10, 1954, in The Pas, Manitoba.
Marlene was a very caring and loving person. Marlene would help us all in many ways.
Marlene loved picking berries with her family, she liked to cook for the whole family and she loved playing bingo with her house bingo buddies, sometimes till 2 a.m.… Marlene also loved to call her friends on the phone, that was her lifeline. Marlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren (Chapans).
Marlene passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at her home in Moose Lake, on Friday, March 20, 2026. Marlene passed away at the age of 68 years.
Marlene is survived by her daughters Wanda, Danella Tobacco (Jason), Vanessa Buck (Jamie), and her baby girl, Betsy Bignell (Peter); son Earl Ross; and she also raised her grandchildren Trisha Buck and Bethany Buck; grandchildren Pete Jr., Paul, Philip, Justin, Stephanie, Joe, Leonard, Preston, Rhianna, Harley, Isiah; and her Chapans Lito Buck (Lily), Baby Layne, Monique, LJay, Mindy, Zachariah, Zendaya, Zayden, Zavier, Logano, Leito, Leita, Baby Rose.
Marlene had many Godchildren, too many to name, she adored them all.
Marlene was predeceased by her husband Leonard Buck; her parents, Vivian and Joseph Moose; in-laws Betsy and Louis Buck; their son Darren Buck; grandchildren Darren Tobacco, and Baby Renee; Marlene’s sisters-in-law, Josie Buck and Lillian Buck; brother-in-law Owen Leighton; and numerous nieces and nephews that have gone on before us. If we forgot anyone it was not intentional.
