Monday, December 29, 2025, a wonderful father, grandfather, friend left the earth to his eternal home. We will mourn his passing, we will grieve, cry, laugh but most important is the legacy he left for us to pursue in his memory. Martin was a compassionate, kind loving man to all.
Martin was born Sunday, August 4, 1935 in Nelson House, Manitoba to Helen and William Colomb.
Martin was a very traditional man who shared his teaching to his children, He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed picking his medicine, hunting, fishing, trapping and camping (He LOVED his wild food). Martin loved telling his stories to his family and friends. He gave his grandchildren and great grandchildren unique Cree nicknames and that’s how he remembered them.
He left to mourn his passing, his children
