It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Meagan Monette Patchinose, who left this world peacefully on September 4, 2025, at the age of 31 years old, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, surrounded by her loved ones.
Meagan was born on Tuesday, June 7, 1994, to her late mom Emma Jane Patchinose in The Pas MB. She went to school at Rod Martin School MB. She loved working for her kokoom Eileen when Martins takeout was running.
Throughout her life she was known for her kind heart, helpful nature, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She found joy in sewing, drawing, and sketching, cooking, and she cherished family gatherings, playing poker and bingo, and most of all, spending precious time with her children.
She loved and took care of her pets. She was a very talented young woman. Her favourite saying was “family and friends!”. Her nickname was “Chilchabutt”.
She is lovingly remembered and survived by her Sisters, Teagan (Kyle), and Vine; her Kids, Heavenly and her baby Leo; Nieces, Ida, Cloe, and Electra; Nephew, Cyrus; Cousin/Sister, Shinekah; Grandmother, Eileen Martin; and lots of Kokoom’s, Grandpa’s, Uncles, Aunties, Cousins; God Parents, Shonda Patchenose Naji; and many other family members, too numerous to mention. If we forgot anyone it was not intentional.
Meagan is predeceased by her Mom, Emma Jane,
Uncle, Theodore Patchenose, Great Grandparents, Emma and Riley Patchenose, Grandpa, Abel Martin Jr.
Meagan’s gentle spirit, creativity, and generosity will be forever treasured by those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
