Pat passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the age of 78 years, in Winnipeg, MB
Pat was born March 9, 1947 in The Pas, MB to Isiah and Margaret Constant, and was a brother to two sisters and four brothers and was also well known to many as “Crazy Pat”
Pat was united in marriage to Harriet Constant on August 28, 1970 and made a good life raising their six children (5 sons and one daughter), they also raised two of their grandchildren as their own. Dad loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his great grandchildren who he loved dearly. He always made sure he attended birthdays and other special family events.
Dad worked hard all his life providing for his family as a hunter and commercial fisherman. In his earlier years dad worked within the community as a Band Constable and graduated from the First Nation Constable Program at training depot in Regina, SK. Pat continued to work within the community as a garbage man for many years. It was during this time dad had ran into health complications and had to stop working due to his health up until his passing.
If you knew Pat he was straight up awesome guy that loved joking and teasing, he had a humorous personality and loved to make people laugh. Pat always enjoyed just being himself and spending time with friends, and having coffee with his buddies at Tim Hortons and the Burger Ranch.
He also enjoyed watching hockey at the Gordon Lathlin Memorial Arena. He loved spending time at the rink with his buddies, always making jokes and cheering on the OCN Blizzard Hockey Team. His favorite NHL hockey team was the San Josie Sharks, he got to attend a few NHL games cheering on his favorite team while the team played in Winnipeg, MB.
In his earlier years, Pat also played the game of soccer with the reserve 11’s soccer team. Pat passed down the passion of playing the game of soccer to his sons and grandsons, who continue to play to this day.
Pat leaves to mourn his sons, Patrick Jr. (Georgina), Marcel (Noreen), Terry (Sydney), Lorne; daughters, Tamara and Charlotte (Vince); Stephanie and Dustin; brothers, Ahab, Leonard, Don, Irvin; Sister, Bertha, also numerous nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws, cousins and extended family members.
Pat was predeceased by his wife, Harriet; son, Irvin; parents, Isiah & Margaret Constant; brother, Ron; sister. Doreen; nieces, Gladys & Sandy; as well as brother and sister in-laws, aunties and uncles, cousins, and other relatives too numerous to mention. If we missed anyone it was not intentional.
