Philip Lawrence Harper
June 4, 1944 – October 23, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phil, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather after a short illness.
Phil will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Barbara and Tracy, grand-daughter Siobhan (Travis) and great-granddaughter Harper and by his sister Pamela (Rick), brother-in-law Don, nieces Corrie, Shannon and Gail and nephews Jeff, Gerald, Brian and Ken. Phil is predeceased by his partner Patricia, brothers Art, Roy, Reid and Gerry and niece Myrna.
Phil grew up in Togo, Saskatchewan until he enlisted in the army in 1960. This explains two of his favourite things – the Saskatchewan Roughriders and enjoying a pint at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19. He loved golfing, curling, camping, boating, and fishing, appreciated classic country music and following sports of all kinds.
In lieu of a service, a come and go celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19, The Pas on November 9th, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm.
