Robert “Bob” Lee Joyal
January 26 1969 – December 1 2025
Bob was born in Thompson, MB January 26, 1969 to Don Joyal and Cindy Bestland. He grew up in The Pas spending his time between Carrot River Valley at the family home, The Bestland farm and the Martin residence in town. As a baby, Bob began going to the Martin’s for childcare. He had a very special relationship with Millie and Fred which lasted for years until their passing. Bob enjoyed tinkering on old vehicles and helping his grandpa Orlando run equipment in his teen years. Bob welcomed his son Alex whom he loved dearly into the world in 1995. In 1997 the family moved to Brooks, Alberta then onto Red Deer where he worked in the Oil field industry until his passing.
Bob is survived by his son Alex, mother Cindy Bestland (the late Jack Ashley), sister Penny (Scott),
niece Kirsten Joyal and Kathy Boyd (spouse of the late Don Joyal), and other relatives too numerous to mention.
Predeceased by father Don Joyal, grandparents Claude and June Joyal, Orlando and Polly Bestland,
Jack Ashley, Uncles Earl, Puddy, Butch, Roy and Orson Bestland and Cousin Jill Joyal
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
