It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Steven Haukaas announces his passing on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. Anthony’s General Hospital in The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 53 years.

Ronnie graduated from Fort Frances High, Fort Frances, Ontario in 1989. In 1991, he relocated to The Pas, Manitoba, where he lived with Uncle Gord Haukaas. After an extensive courtship, Ronald and Annie (Moran), whom he had met in 1992, were married on December 4, 1999. They shared several homes before purchasing their side-by-side on Cathedral Avenue and then moving to Bodnar Road. Ronald had two lovely daughters, Alaina and Jessica Birkholz, he became their father in 1992. Jeremiah Haukaas arrived in 2000. Ronald had a strong sense of family. Ronnie’s favourite activities were working with machinery, being outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. He loved sharing special moments with his wife, spoiling his grandchildren, and creating unique songs for them. Known for his positive outlook, honesty, humour, and integrity, Ronald’s influence touched everyone he knew, and he will be dearly missed.
