Sheldon Norman Hogarth
November 19, 1966 - December 13, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Sheldon Norman Hogarth, who died peacefully at his home in The Pas, Manitoba, on December 13, 2025, with his loving family by his side. He was 59 years old.

Sheldon was born in Winnipeg on November 19, 1966. He spent his formative years in his hometown of Neepawa, where he was known as an avid and competitive young man. He was a competitive swimmer who went on to serve as a lifeguard and swim instructor. He also enjoyed his time as a hockey player and participating in the local rifle range.

In 1987, Sheldon met his beloved wife, Monica, and they moved to Winnipeg; they were married in 1997. They welcomed their daughter, Jerica, in 1995, his "daddy's girl." They lived in Winnipeg until 2020, when they relocated to The Pas.

Sheldon graduated in 1991 with a degree in Computer Electronics. He was passionate about his work, always available for a service call, and generous with his advice to colleagues. Following his cancer diagnosis in September 2020, he remained committed to his work for as long as he was able.

Sheldon will be forever remembered for his kindness, his unforgettable sense of humor, and his ability to be a "forever friend" to all who knew him. He found his greatest joy in the outdoors, spending his favorite moments camping and fishing, and often delighted family and friends with his culinary skills around the campfire pit.

Sheldon's memory will be forever cherished by his devoted wife, Monica, and their loving daughter, Jerica (Joshua). He is survived by his parents, Norman and Pearl Hogarth; his mother-in-law, Jan Ross; and his siblings: Richard (Rita), Tina (John), and Vicki (Ryan). He will also be greatly missed by Monica's siblings and their families: Patricia (Kenny), Helena (Terry), Polly (Vince), Rob (Deidre), and Jean (Charlene), as well as his extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the CEC dining hall at the Neepawa United - Anglican Church, 475 Mountain Avenue.
