Roxanne was born on Tuesday, May 31, 1988, in The Pas, Manitoba to Donna Francois and Ernest Hunter.
Roxanne passed away suddenly Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 36 years.
She was always, happy go lucky young lady. She loved having visitors, no matter the troubles she was facing, she always had the happiness around her.
Roxanne resided in Flin Flon and met her adopted families. She was sent to Winnipeg on fire evacuation from Flin Flon and ended up staying in Winnipeg.
Roxanne is survived by her children Joel, Bradley, Rosalie, Rae and new born boy (5 months); brothers Ernie Francois, Travis Francois and family, Tony Francois, Sonny (Melinda) Hunter and family; Sunny Hunter Colomb, Jeremie Hunter; sisters Gail (John) Francois, Erica Francois and family; special friends Jason Smith and Richard Clarke; aunts Cathy Castel, Rita Francois, Mary Ann (Rueben) Grey, adopted aunt Shirley (Eli) Castel, Adelaide Bighetty, Victoria Francois; uncles Oliver Francois and family, adopted uncles Perry Francois and family, Darren Francois and family.
Roxanne was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Donna Hunter; sisters Stephanie Francois, Hilda (Zenon) Dumas; grandparents Albert and Ellen Francois; great grandparents David and Sarah Betsy Francois, Selezie Caribou Linklater, Joseph Caribou, Isaac Linklater, Stanley Castel, Thomas Hunter, Kenneth Dumas; Andrew and Betsy Francois, Oliver, Abraham, Henry, Soloman, Sarah Francois, Suzanne Hughes, Claudamaire Francois, Arthur Bighetty, Latrail, Robert, Troy Castel, Gerald Francois, Shawn Bighetty, Eric Bighetty, deceased relatives Marie Adele (John) Bighetty, Jimmy Bighetty, Jeremie (Caroline) Caribou, Angus Linklater, Catherine Linklater, Oliver (Genevieve) Caribou, Sarah (John) Bighetty; relatives from Nelson House; special friend Troy Anderson; and many relatives too numerous to mention.
