Tracey Alice Mercredi was born in The Pas, Manitoba on December 28, 1982 to James and Geraldine Mercredi. Tracey was united in marriage to Gilbert Buck, they had seven children together; Darius, Gilbert Jr. (Kispuck), Grace, Gerald, Carmen, Jimmy, Annette and Christino Cook. Tracey attended school in Cranberry where she met the love of her life Gilbert, whom she married in October of 2001.

Tracey was a homemaker, she enjoyed playing sports and watching her kids grow up. She also enjoyed beading and braiding hair during her free time. She also loved coloring and dancing to her music. Tracey was so excited when her first grandson Issac Buck arrived.

Tracey leaves behind her mother Geraldine Mercredi; children Darius, Kispuck, Grace, Carmen, Jimmy, Gerald, Annette and Christiano; Husband Gilbert Conrad Buck; uncle Ricky Patchenose; aunties Lorna, Eileen, Annette, Melinda, Jennifer, Suzzette, Shonda and Margaret; she also leaves behind many friends in Winnipeg, Thompson, The Pas and Moose Lake, as well as family and friends too numerous to mention.

Tracey is predeceased by her granddaughter Alexandria Buck; father James Mercredi “Jim Brass”; grandparents Riley and Emma Patchenose, Felix and Esther Mercredi; in laws Ralph and Melvina Buck; as well as family and friends too numerous to mention. If we missed anyone it was not intentional.
