Tuan "Kenny" Ngo Obituary

Celebrating the life of

Tuan Khanh Ngo "Kenny"

Kenny Ngo was born on Friday, October 10, 1958 in Vietnam. He suddenly passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre with his nephew Noel by his side.  He was 66 years old.

Kenny was known for his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. His hard work and dedication were evident in everything he did, and he approached life with a spirit of adventure, often making quick decisions that led him on remarkable journeys. Kenny was one of the best cooks in the world, possessing a unique patience in the kitchen that allowed him to create delicious meals that brought joy to all who tasted them.

He thrived on the simple things in life and never needed much to survive, finding happiness the little moments. His warmth and infectious happiness made him a fan favorite wherever he went, and despite his limited English, he formed countless friendships with those who spoke only the English language. The joy he radiated transcended any language barrier, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Kenny came to Canada in the 1980’s and resided in Winnipeg, Portage La Prairie, Selkirk and in The Pas, MB, where he met Orianna and they had three children together. He was very proud of his children and always spoke highly of them. He was also happy to always hear about his 8 grandchildren.

Kenny always wanted to go back to Vietnam to visit his sister. Kenny had a close relationship with his brother Alan. He always made sure that his brother was taken care of as they grew up here in Canada. They worked and owned various restaurant businesses together.

Kenny enjoyed fishing in Northern Manitoba with his friends and his brother Alan.

Kenny is survived by his nephew, Noel

children; Savanna(Jonathon), Kenneth and Kendall

Grandchildren; Mikwan, Daya, Greyson, Landon, Mika, Sanchez, Charisma and Mariko

Brother, Alan Ngo.

If we forgot anyone it was not intentional.
