Ulric (Rick) Bagg
July 18, 1942 - January 8, 2025
Peacefully with family by his side Rick passed away at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 82 years.
Rick was born in Curling, Newfoundland. He joined the army where he was stationed in Winnipeg, his home where he worked for CN rail till he retired in 2002. He then moved to The Pas.
Rick made numerous friends working the morning shift at Broadway Confectionary.
Rick always had a passion for reading. He would spends hours sitting on his chair with a good book and his bottle of diet Pepsi.
Rick loved having his grandchildren around. They awaited the chocolate bar he always had for them in his pocket. He always made them giggle when he would dance to Neal McCoy's song "The Shake".
Rick was outnumbered by the females in his life and was anxiously waiting for the arrival of his first great grandson. He enjoyed having life chats with all his grand kids and would always laugh and shake his head at his 3 daughters when they got together with all the shenanigans.
Rick is predeceased by his parent dad Gus and mom Marion; and his brother Guy.
Rick is survived by his loving wife Eileen; and his children Gary, Ivy (Karl), Michele, Jaci (Steve); grandchildren Dallas (Cheryl), Chelsea, Maraiah, Kirsten, Raistlin, Chyler and Makenzie; great granddaughter Spencer. As well as many nieces and nephew; numerous friends especially Ron Neveux who always made him laugh and looked forward to his monthly visits with Rene from Gardewine.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Western Manitoba Cancer Centre in Brandon or St. Boniface
Peritoneal Dialysis Unit in Winnipeg.
In keeping with family wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral service will be held.
